We're thrilled to announce that Crosby Fresh has been selected as the official catering partner for Mersey Ferries — one of the most recognised and cherished ferry services in the United Kingdom.
This partnership represents a natural evolution for Crosby Fresh. Our passion for delivering exceptional, chef-hosted food now extends to the waters of the River Mersey, where we'll be serving passengers and private event guests aboard the iconic fleet.

The Mersey Ferries have carried passengers across the River Mersey for nearly 900 years — a heritage stretching back to the twelfth century when Benedictine monks first operated a crossing from Birkenhead Priory.
Since 1150, ferries have crossed the Mersey. Granted a Royal designation after World War I, the service has been woven into Liverpool's identity for centuries.
The fleet includes the MV Snowdrop — adorned with Sir Peter Blake's famous dazzle camouflage — and the brand new MV Royal Daffodil, entering service in 2026.
Immortalised by Gerry & The Pacemakers and deeply connected to the Beatles era, the Mersey Ferry crossing is one of the most famous short voyages in the world.
Each vessel carries up to 1,200 passengers and operates between Pier Head (Liverpool), Seacombe (Wallasey), and Woodside (Birkenhead).
The celebrated Snowdrop is recognised worldwide thanks to Sir Peter Blake's dazzle camouflage design — a floating work of art that has become one of the most photographed ships on the Mersey.
The brand new MV Royal Daffodil enters service in 2026, replacing the retiring MV Royal Iris. A modern addition to the fleet, ready for the next chapter of Mersey crossings and events.
